Please join us at The Wicoff House for the opening day of our new temporary exhibit: “The School That Started a Town – A History of Plainsboro Schools”
Honoring Plainsboro’s first act as an official Township of New Jersey – this exhibit tells the story of how the citizens’ fight for safe and proper schooling led to the founding of what many call the “Education Township.”
From the mid-19th century to the present, you’ll learn about Plainsboro’s oldest school houses, compare educational tools used then and now, and gain perspective of the children and teachers during Plainsboro’s early years.
There will be a short presentation/lecture and light refreshments.
This event is free.
