Founders Day will be celebrated by Plainsboro Township this year on Saturday, May 4, 2024 (raindate: Sunday, May 5th) beginning at 12:30 pm with a parade from Edgemere Ave to the Municipal Grounds.  Make sure to stop into the Wicoff House Museum to see our special Founders Day exhibit.

Go to the township’s website for more information about this fun-filled family event! https://www.plainsboronj.com/535/Founders-Day

This 1861 Middlesex County, NJ map (courtesy of the Library of Congress) shows the village of Plainsboro. Plainsboro was originally part of South Brunswick and Cranbury townships. On May 6, 1919, Plainsboro was incorporated thanks to the efforts of many residents who wanted to provide their children with better educational opportunities.
