Get To Know Our Staff

Hello all. My name is Julianne Tarrant and I am the Museum Program Coordinator at the Historic Wicoff House Museum. I graduated in May 2020 from Rowan University where I received my B.A. in History. In July, I started working at the Wicoff House Museum.

I took a strong interest in history at a young age. In fact, I was Betsy Ross one year for Halloween in elementary school. In my sophomore year of college, I decided to pursue a career in museums and public history.

I have interned at a few different museums, including the Historical Society of Pennsylvania and the Alice Paul Institute, before beginning my career at the Wicoff House Museum.

On a more personal note, I love to run, read and go to the beach. My favorite snack is popcorn. My favorite book is The President Is Missing. My goal one day is to own two dogs and name them after my favorite historical figures. My favorite pastime during the Covid-19 lock down was to bake bread (I am proud to say I perfected a bread recipe).

I hope to see you stop by the Historic Wicoff House Museum soon!
